Project Scope: Scott's Miracle Grow wanted to boost the presence of their winter bird feeding products (specifically suet cakes). These products are always merchandised in aisle with a variety of other brands so any branded added educational tools that could provide selection prompts were highly effective. WD was creating an initiative to promote the work/life balance of their corporate culture. I created a series of posters to be displayed in one of the main office conference rooms and a display for the lobby which featured two 7' x 7' exhibition areas. The lobby display used portraits of all 300+ employees while the posters exhibited the special talents and hobbies of a few employees who had responded to a survey about outside interests....Read More
This display was created in the lobby of the firm I was working with at the time to celebrate the spring season. The flowers are a combination of split tennis balls and background graphics so that it appears that the silhouetted figure with the racquet on the right is lobbing them across the void and joining the 2 sides. All of the live flowers were supported using the canister that the tennis balls were purchased in as a sort of vase. The spoof of the photoshoot was based off of the revolving athletes flash feature on the Gatorade website. This display was created for Earth Day in the lobby of the firm I was working with at the time. It featured all recycled packing and foamcore material and tempera paints as to be an actually green display. The remaining budget for the project I spent on plants and trees. These plants I took care of and watered for a few days so that everyone could enjoy them then at the end of that period staff members could take home and plant any flora that they had tagged earlier in the week using the tiny hang tags that I had arranged on an integrated grid....Read More
